FORMAT OF THE COURSE

Lesson Study through a Mathematics Lens is a ten-session course.  Each session consists of:
    • A cycle of explanation, illustration, and direction to help participants implement the key elements of lesson study
    • Approximately four hours of professional development time with hands-on models that you work through as you engage in lesson study.  These four hours are broken down as:
      • Approximately two hours of the online course that encompasses a variety of activities, some online and some face-to-face
      • Approximately two hours of on-your-own lesson study implementation
